Jeannette received her certification as a Prepare/Enrich counselor in 1999 from Life Innovations, Inc., in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2006, she became certified as a Prepare/Enrich Seminar Director and Marriage Mentoring Trainer and has completed ongoing Marriage Enrichment training workshops; including, but not limited to: “Empowering Couples” Marriage Mentoring Training, Jason Krafsky’s Before “I Do”- Preparing for the Full Marriage Experience, “Love Is A Decision”, “Intentional Marriage“, “Redemptive Marital Therapy”, and “Smart Discipline”- Parenting Training Workshop.
Jeannette is a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors, the Marriage and Family Network, and Phi Theta Kappa.
She has recently served as the Pre-marital Trainer for the Healthy Marriage Collaborative of Central Ohio, a group facilitator for Equipping Ministries International, church small group lay leader, and discipleship counselor for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Personal
Jeannette and her husband have been married for over 30 years, and have one son. Her lay ministry experience and pre-marital work over the years has taught her that many couples will usually spend an enormous amount of time and money planning the details of their wedding day; but often give little time or consideration to the value of pre-marital preparation/counseling. She recognizes that while the wedding day is one of the most important, joyous, and stressful events in a couple’s life; however, it is just one day. Believing that Pre-marital counseling is the single most important investment a couple can make, and one that will have a lifelong impact upon the quality of their relationship; Jeannette offers pre-marital preparation at affordable fees, in a relaxed environment with convenient and flexible hours at two locations.
