Professional

Lynn King holds a BS in Biology and Medical Technology from Ohio Northern University in 1983 and has spent over twenty years in the medical field ranging from laboratory to information services management.  She received her Masters in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in 2003 and has been practicing at WellSpring since 2002.  Her practice incorporates her medical, managerial, and counseling experiences to provide a diverse and practical counseling approach.  She has also received specialized training addressing adolescent, family, mood disorders, substance abuse, and codependency issues.  Lynn is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Personal

Personally, Lynn enjoys people, travel, backpacking, kayaking, cooking (and eating, of course!), nature, golf, and nearly anything adventurous - especially Costa Rica.  Her love of people, the thrill of seeing others develop new perspectives and achieve their potential, and her own life experiences are what lured Lynn from the medical to the mental health side of health care, a career change that has been even more fulfilling and enjoyable than expected!
